Airfoil database search

Every profile in the library, searchable by name and filterable by shape. Names are matched fuzzily, so “NACA 2412”, “naca2412” and a half-remembered “2412” all find the same section.

Filter by geometry

Maximum thickness and camber as a percentage of chord, and the chordwise position where each of them peaks. Those four numbers are most of what separates a low-Reynolds glider section from a thick structural one, and they narrow 1,600 candidates to a handful faster than reading names does.

The families

NACA four- and five-digit, Eppler, Selig, Göttingen, Wortmann FX, Delft DU, Martin Hepperle MH, Horstmann–Quast HQ, RAF and RAE, among others. Filtering by family is the shortcut when you already know the design lineage you want — Selig for low-Reynolds R/C, HQ for sailplanes, NACA for general aviation.

On every profile

Selig-ordered coordinates, thickness and camber statistics, lift/drag/moment polars across a range of Reynolds numbers, and DXF or .dat download. Geometry is stored as CST parameters rather than fixed point clouds, so an export is generated at whatever resolution you ask for instead of being resampled.
